Summer Ad Campaigns from exclusive labels and renowned fashion houses started the regular performance alerting about the trends for summertime. There is a lot of vintage inspired fashions as well as edgy and signature looks from the fashion houses. Starting from high-end designers to the latest revelations on the fashion stage, the pictorials promoting the summer vibes on their apparels have great diversity in their message and impact. However, there is always a common denominator – eye-catching images, significant trademark of the designers and their own unique interpretation of the trends. For the Spring/ Summer 2012 season there is a observable influence of water and vintage in the ad campaigns. Let’s take a loop.

To start from the most noteworthy names like Prada, there is a visible influence of vintage inspirations from colorful 1950s. Both of them pose in some shoots on the parallel bars looking like professional and very fashionable sportswomen. The styling for the campaign was meticulously prepared byCarineRoitfeld setting the image of sleek black and white fresh sportif.

Absolutely sweet and pastel campaign by Louis Vuitton for season of summer 2012 conquers the hearts with the bubblegum and candy hues. Steven Meisel did it again first photographing Prada Campaign and here capturing the campaign of Louis Vuitton with the models Daria Strokus and Kati Nescher transformed into candy girls. From the carousel catwalk into the Wonderland theme, the pictorial represents some kind of fairy tale scenery with the pastel overload palette on both the interiors and designer apparels. As Marc Jacobs described the campaign is “very soft and very sweet, yet at the same time very bold and very graphic”.

Dolce&Gabbana ad campaign for Spring/Summer 2012 season is inspired by the Old Italian cinematography. The campaign lensed byMariano Vivanco for menswear andGiampaoloSgura for womenswear gathers pearls of modern cinema including magnificentMonicaBellucci and modelsBiancaBalti andSimoneNobli. The photographs were taken inPortofino giving a tribute to the Italian tradition and importance of family in the Italian society.
