Cara Delevingne by Nick Knight on Istagram

The latest and captivating action that includes fashion – web media association of Twitter, Istagram and Tumbrl’s perfect marriage was the first Istagram photoshoot taken by Nick Knight. The renowned photographer that is also a first league contributor to well-known publications including SHOWstudio.com, have taken part in the Istagram project transferring the high-fashion aesthetics with the untypical inspirations of Internet memes, animal GIFs and Autumn/Winter 2012 fashion trends.
With the help of iPhone application Nick Knight arranged first ever yet without the use of retouch software, professional editorial featuring Burberry star – Cara Delevingne with the adorable baby animals including kittens, puppies, bunnies and baby chicks among others. The editorial entitled with funny name: “Pussycat Pussycat” is accentuated with the sophisticated selection of high-end jewelry including such names like Fabergé, Van Cleef and Arpels. The photoshoot is divided into the six sections with the referring names like: “Van Cleef and Arpels with ducklings” or “Fabergé with kitten” presenting the piece of beautiful styling with the peaceful baby animals.
Focusing on the first opening mentioned before under the name: “Van Cleef and Arpels with ducklings”, the model Cara wears magnificent cocktail dress with bustle from Mary Katrantzou’s signature. The spring colored outfit is accompanied with the exquisite accessories by Van Cleef and Arpels and lovable ducklings whose natural yellow plumage composes interesting color combination with the whole picture. The second presentation “Fabergé with kitten” depicts opulently dressed up model in Valentio Haute Couture designs accompanied with beautifully colorful jewelry from Fabergé and cute kitten.
Following the third opening called “Fabergé with puppy”, the charming companion of a baby dog goes along with the outstanding outfit of Cara featuring laser-cut chiffon dress by the Giles archive finds detailed with ostrich feathers and Swarovski crystals needlework.
“Cartier with bunny” is the forth part of the photoshoot depicting the charm of little bunny associated with the glamour lady armored with Cartier jewels and Prada oriented costume. The fifth presentation is called “Solange Azagury-Partridge with puppy” revealing white hair Chihuahua pup with Cara dressed up in Rochas cocktail dress and the glitters from Solange Azagury-Partridge. The last but not least presentation from the photoshoot, entitled “Delfina Delettrez with kitten” displays Cara with seductive attitude wearing multicolored sequined trouser suit designed by Meadham Kirchhoff, embroidered shoes by Prada juxtaposed with the jewelry from Delfina Delettrez.
Commenting on the project, Nick Knight shared his thoughts about Istagram approach by saying: “Istagram takes me back to the style of my earliest photography; no retouching and no long process of post production.”
